With our help, many foreign-invested projects have been selected to locate in Qingdao and already gained significant successes. Fortum, from Finland, invested 29 million USD to build a natural gas storage base with a total capacity of 250,000 tons, taking advantage of Qingdao Harbor to send natural gas to eastern China .

Bombardier, from Canada, set up a JV in Qingdao with a total investment of 70 million USD to produce top-standard bullet trains and also established a JV to train pilots.

Carrefour and Metro are the two world famous supermarkets. They have invested 30 million USD and 15 million USD respectively in Qingdao. Because of the fast growing of the local residential purchasing power, Qingdao Carefour is the most profitable store among all the Carrefour stores across China .  

Saint-Gobain Group, together with Hanglass Group (Korean company), invested 50 milliion USD to set up a glass manufacturing base in Qingdao.
